Opening Prayer Given by the Guest Chaplain:
Good and gracious God, as we look forward to a new Congress and a new day, may we be filled with hope, a hope inspired by confidence in You.
No matter what the challenges, we trust in Your providential love and loving care. We know that You will walk with us, guiding our steps and leading us safely home. We make this prayer with grateful hearts.
